REGULAR ORGANIZATION: Chair Ronan called the Regular Meeting of April 25, 2023, of the Cultural Heritage
Commission of the City of San Juan Capistrano to order at 4:31 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Commissioners Jan Siegel, Ann Ronan, Paul Lopez, Anna Dickinson, Kristina Perrigoue, and Jan Siegel.
COMMISSIONER ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Joel Rojas, Development Services Director Laura Stokes, Acting Principal Planner

CHC Action Minutes 2 April 25, 2023
1. Reorganization of the Cultural Heritage Commission: Selection of Chair and Vice Chair. (Project Manager: Joel Rojas). Acting Secretary Laura Stokes provided a staff presentation and opened the nominations for Chair.
Commission Action: COMMISSIONER Siegel nominated COMMISSIONER Ronan as Chair, seconded by COMMISSIONER Lopez. The motion to select COMMISSIONER Ronan as Chair passed by a 5-0 vote.

2. Verbal discussion regarding May 2023 National Preservation Month and programming update from the Ad Hoc Committee.
Chair Ronan and Vice Chair Lopez provided a presentation of Ad Hoc Committee
past and planned actions. No one provided public testimony. Commission Action: COMMISSIONER Dickinson made a motion, seconded by COMMISSIONER Perrigoue, to have the Ad Hoc Committee proceed with
the items as discussed. The motion passed by a 5-0 vote.
