AGENDA PLANNING COMMISSION
Regular Meeting June 23, 2021
The public will be able to attend the June 23, 2021
Planning Commission meeting in person.
Attendees are advised to adhere to California Department of Public
Health and County Public Health Care Agency guidance. Executive
Order N-29-20 allows this meeting to be conducted by teleconference,
as specified below.
To help prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the City encourages the following:
1. View the Planning Commission meeting live at the City’s website
http://sanjuancapistrano.org/Important-Links/City-Council-Archived-Meetings. This is especially important if you, or someone you have had direct contact with, has traveled internationally to a country experiencing COVID-19, if you have tested positive or are experiencing flu-like symptoms,
if you are over the age of 60, or if you have underlying health conditions.
2. Participate during the Oral Communication/Public Comment portion of the agenda by calling the public comment line at (949) 493-1172 at the beginning of the meeting. Individuals will be placed in a queue until it is their time to speak. The public may also speak by requesting to be called during the meeting. To make this arrangement, please contact the Secretary at least an hour prior to the meeting at sklotz@sanjuancapistrano.org or (949) 443-6334.
3. Submit agenda item correspondence to the Planning Commission electronically. Material may be emailed to sklotz@sanjuancapistrano.org. Please submit correspondence at least one hour prior to the start of the meeting.
4. Refrain from distributing hard copy material. Email material in advance of the meeting to sklotz@sanjuancapistrano.org.
5. If you do attend the meeting in person, there is no need to complete a speaker card if you wish to
address the Planning Commission. The Chair will call for speakers prior to each agenda item.

3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE B. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Persons wishing to address the Governing Body on city business that is not
listed on the agenda may do so in person by attending the meeting, by email or
telephone. If you would prefer to submit correspondence or speak by telephone,
please submit your correspondence or request to the Secretary at least an hour

beginning of the meeting. The Secretary will call persons wishing to speak and/or

Items listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and will be enacted by one motion and one vote. There will be no separate discussion of these items.

1. Continued Consideration of Administrative Approval (AA) 21-001; San Juan Hills Golf Club Fencing, A request for after-the-fact approval of an Administrative Approval per Municipal Code Section 9-2.303(a)(4) to allow the installation of 500 linear feet of new chain link fencing with gates, along with trees planted adjacent to the new fencing, on the Golf Club’s
western property line, adjacent to Avenida Larga (Project Manager: Jeffrey Graham, Contract Planner). F. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
