AGENDA SPECIAL CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSION Special Meeting May 5, 2021 The public will be able to attend the May 5, 2021 Cultural Heritage Commission meeting in person. Please be advised that seating will be limited to maintain a minimum six-foot (6’) distance between attendees. Additionally, attendees are advised to adhere to California Department of Public Health and County Public Health Care Agency guidance with respect to the wearing of a mask or face covering. Executive Order N-29-20 also allows this meeting to be conducted by teleconference, as specified below. To help prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the City encourages the following: 1. View the Cultural Heritage Commission meeting live at the City’s website http://sanjuancapistrano.org/Important-Links/City-Council-Archived-Meetings. This is especially important if you, or someone you have had direct contact with, has traveled internationally to a country experiencing COVID-19, if you have tested positive or are experiencing flu-like symptoms, if you are over the age of 60, or if you have underlying health conditions. 2. Participate during the Oral Communication/Public Comment portion of the agenda by calling the public comment line at (949) 493-1172 at the beginning of the meeting. Individuals will be placed in a queue until it is their time to speak. The public may also speak by requesting to be called during the meeting. To make this arrangement, please contact the Secretary at least an hour prior to the meeting at sklotz@sanjuancapistrano.org or (949) 443-6334. 3. Submit agenda item correspondence to the Cultural Heritage Commission electronically. Material may be emailed to sklotz@sanjuancapistrano.org. Consideration of adding an item to the Cultural Heritage Commission’s regularly scheduled May 25, 2021 meeting that would allow reconsideration of the Cultural Heritage Commission’s April 27, 2021 recommendation to the City Council of Code Amendment (CA) 20-002, Los Rios Specific Plan (SP78-01); A proposed amendment to the Los Rios Specific Plan that would reestablish an Accessory Use Permit process to permit food establishments to add or expand alcohol service within the Historic Residential District.
