AGENDA CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSION
Regular Meeting April 27, 2021
The public will be able to attend the April 27, 2021
Cultural Heritage Commission meeting in person.
Please be advised that seating will be limited to maintain a minimum
six-foot (6’) distance between attendees. Additionally, attendees are
advised to adhere to California Department of Public Health and
County Public Health Care Agency guidance with respect to the
wearing of a mask or face covering. Executive Order N-29-20 also
allows this meeting to be conducted by teleconference, as specified
below.
To help prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the City encourages the following:
1. View the Cultural Heritage Commission meeting live at the City’s website http://sanjuancapistrano.org/Important-Links/City-Council-Archived-Meetings. This is especially
important if you, or someone you have had direct contact with, has traveled internationally to a country experiencing COVID-19, if you have tested positive or are experiencing flu-like symptoms, if you are over the age of 60, or if you have underlying health conditions.
2. Participate during the Oral Communication/Public Comment portion of the agenda by calling the public comment line at (949) 493-1172 at the beginning of the meeting. Individuals will be placed in a queue until it is their time to speak. The public may also speak by requesting to be called during the meeting. To make this arrangement, please contact the Secretary at least an hour prior to the meeting at sklotz@sanjuancapistrano.org or (949) 443-6334.
3. Submit agenda item correspondence to the Cultural Heritage Commission electronically. Material may be emailed to sklotz@sanjuancapistrano.org. Please submit correspondence at least one hour prior to the start of the meeting.

request to amend the Los Rios Specific Plan (SP78-01), which is generally bounded by Los Rios Street, Del Obispo Street, Paseo Adelanto and Mission Street, has a General Plan Land Use Designation of Specific Plan/Precise Plan and Zoning of Los Rios Specific Plan/SP 78-01, to allow
expanded and new alcoholic beverage sales within the Historic
Residential (HR) district via an accessory use permit (AUP)(Applicant: Phillip Schwartze, PRS Group)(Project Manager: Sergio Klotz). 2. Consideration of Accessory Use Permit (AUP) 21-001, a proposal to allow
