In an effort to establish a system favorable to the homeowners
for landscape maintenance in the Seaview District (Tract 9284),
the following approved scope of work is now to be utilized:
Approved Scope of Work
The City of San Juan Capistrano will:
1. Provide contractual personnel and equipment for the
removal and disposal of weeds. Personnel shall consist
of three workers for eight hours a day for five days
twice a year (10 days).
2. Provide written notification to the Block Captain 30 days
in advance of the start time days noted above.
3. Provide irrigation line and time clock inspection four
times a year.
4. Continue to pay utility bills as they occur.
5. Pay on a quarterly basis those bills presented by the
Block Captain for irrigation materials, additional plants
and supplies as budgeted in contingency.
The Seaview Homeowners will:
1. Be responsible for notifying the City of the appointment
of the Block Captain.
2. Provide, through their Block Captain, supervision of the
bi-annual weeding. Approval of Block Captain will be
required on the timecards of each worker to verify
performance.
Utilizing this specified scope of work, the following services will
not be incorporated by the City.
Services Not Requested
1. Tree trimming
2. Fertilizing
3. Rodent control
4. Repair of irrigation lines and sprinklers
5. Repair/replacement of time clocks
6. City crew response to emergencies
7. Adjustments to irrigation system
8. Installation of additional plant material
9. Repair or replacement of damaged plant material
10. Herbicide control

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING
THE COST REPORT FOR 1983 LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE
DISTRICTS CHARGES IN THE CITY OF SAN JUAN
CAPISTRANO
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on the 6th day of
December, 1978, adopt Ordinance No. 378, and on the 2nd day of
July, 1980, adopt Ordinance No. 408 for the maintenance of City
Landscape Districts; and,
WHEREAS, the work related to the aforesaid maintenance
has been accomplished by contract, and an itemized report is
submitted to the City Council for 1983 Landscape Maintenance
Districts charges; said report entitled, "City of San Juan
Capistrano, Landscape Maintenance Districts - 1983," is made a
part hereof by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
finds and determines that the charges for said maintenance are
acceptable.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of the report
referred to herein is hereby authorized to be sent to the County
Assessor and Tax Collector, said copy to be used by the County
Auditor to enter each assessment to the County tax roll opposite
the parcel of land thereon.
