CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING TELEPHONIC/VIDEO CONFERENCE MEETING ORGANIZATION:
Chair Siegel called the Regular and Telephonic/Video Meeting of February 23, 2021, of the Cultural Heritage Commission of the City of San Juan Capistrano to order at 4:32 p.m. ROLL CALL: CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSIONERS ATTENDING BY TELECONFERENCE /VIDEO CONFERENCE, PURSUANT TO EXECUTIVE ORDER N-29-20: Chair Janet Siegel, Vice-Chair Ann Ronan and Commissioners Anna Dickinson, Howard Newman, Lorie Porter.
COMMISSIONER ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Sergio Klotz, Assistant Development Services Director

PUBLIC HEARINGS: None. NEW BUSINESS:
1. Use of Collected Historic Depiction Program (HDP) In-Lieu Fees to Promote, Enhance, and/or Support the City’s History and Heritage (Project Manager: Sergio Klotz, Assistant Development Services Director).
Sergio Klotz provided presentation and responded to questions. Chair Siegel opened the Public comments and Rich Heimann, Krista Nichols, Patricia Waterman and Frank Larkin provided public testimony via teleconference to the Cultural Heritage Commission.
Commission Action: After public input and discussion of the use of collected Historic Depiction Program in-lieu fees, Commissioner Newman made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Dickinson to continue the item to the next meeting to allow all commissioners to submit two suggestions of how the in-lieu funds
should be utilized to the CHC Secretary by Tuesday, March 16, 2021. ROLL CALL: AYES: COMMISSIONER: Dickinson, Newman, Ronan, Porter and Siegel.
