Work $o be Cone The City of San Juan Capistrano is proposing the development of a San Diego Gas and Electric Right -of -Way into a park site. Clearing and grading work has already been completed and utility companies will install onsite electric and water meters. The City has applied for funding from the Department of Fo estry for Pine and Liquid Amber trees; however, results of the grant are not yet available. The remainder of labor and m terials will be supplied by private forces under two diffe ent contracts and bids. The first contract consists of developing a hiking/equestrian trail with adjacent fencing. The second contract shall consist of two alternates, only one of which will be selected, depending on available funds. Alternate I consists of installing drainage facilities and landscaping and irrigation systems to be installed at each end of thE park including the main irrigation line with stubs for futurE expansion. Developmental boundaries are noted on the plans. Alter ate II consists of full improvements to the park site per a tacked plans and specifications. Shoul the two contracts be let to two different contractors, said ontractors will coordinate and phase their work to ins ur completion of the project with as little conflict and dam ag to improvements as possible. 2. Standard Specifications The c nteactor shall perform his work in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, 1976 Edition, hereinafter referred to as the Standard Specifications.
