hereinafter called OWNER.
Relocation is required of certain utility facilities of OWNER, cost of which is to be borne by STATE because: Section
703 of the Streets and Highways Code: Publicly owned sewers.
I. Description of Work
In accordance with Notice to Relocate No. 7-5076, dated June 15,
1967, State Highway Contractor will furnish and install the following
items:
A. Construct 2,230* feet of clay sewer pipe on the east side of
the San Diego Freeway from HES 455+001 to HES 475+30.'•
B. Construct one pressure manhole at approximately HES 466+80.
II. Plans and Estimates
All work shall be performed substantially in accordance with State
Highway Plans, Design File Accession #177-19, dated October, 1966,
and estimate dated November 27, 1966. Copies of plan and estimate
are on file in the District 07 Office of Division of Highways at
120 South Spring Street, Los Angeles, California 90012. Minor
deviations from the above-described work slay be made and incidental
work relative thereto performed by the Owner, when mutually
acceptable to both parties and upon approval by the State.

III. Performance of Work
It is hereby understood and agreed between the parties that all
relocation work not forth in Section I above and indicated on
plans designated in Section II above shall be performed by the
State under highway contract.
IV. Acceptance by Owner
Owner agrees to accept the operation, use, and maintenance of
the sewers, as constructed.
V. Credits
It is mutually understood and agreed between the parties that the
State will not receive credits for salvage, depreciation, or
betterment.
VI. Owner acknowledges that said highway is a federal -aid highway and
that Policy and Procedure Memorandum 30-4 issued December 31, 1957,
by the Bureau of Public Roads, governs the relationship between
the State and the United States insofar as reimbursement procedures
are concerned.
