QA/QC Process
Michael Baker's QA/QC process consists of the above six steps, each of which is critical to ensuring that task orders are
delivered on time and within budget.
Michael Baker's QC/QA approach minimizes errors in deliverables in accordance with the standard of care in the industry. Our
key organizational approach to quality is adaptable to any project size. We have developed construction management and
inspection quality management plans. Recognizing the Consultant Team's responsibility for the accuracy of project records,
Michael Baker is dedicated to its established program of strict quality control and assurance. Our final file will include a Quality
Verification Form be filled out documenting the quality reviews performed before the deliverable can be sent out. Our program
assigns specific individuals to manage the effort and defines the requirements for all quality control activities.
Project Document Control
Document control is the lifeblood of a well-managed project. Not only are accurate records vital to the success of a project,
being able to find them is equally important, particularly after the players have left the field. The Construction Management
Plan will be the blueprint for procedures on the project. The Construction Management Coordinator will handle record keeping
for the project. The project records will be filed using our agreed upon file structure set up at the kick off meeting with the City
of San Juan Capistrano Project Manager. Michael Baker will modify and enhance the system as needed to address specific
project needs, including compatibility and compliance with all requirements. Michael Baker will synchronize project records,
including correspondence, submittals, shop drawings, photographs, and schedules.
Michael Baker will utilize an electronic document management system for the project.
