Hi Rob,
That is not true. I have lived in this neighborhood for over 30 years. All of the upper ridge horse
properties do access their horses and bring in feed and remove waste from the ridge line trail.
That is their access point. A walking 3' path to hike up to the horses is how 98%of the upper
Hillside and Highview neighbors get to their equestrian properties. Your client is asking for
o'permission" to get to a property that all of their neighbors for over 35 years would have loved to
have had the same benefit. The reason they hired you is your ability to get something most
people can't get.
This is not in the best interest of our community. It will open up the precedent for every other
property to request the same benefit. Then the grading of steep slopes becomes ahazard for all.
Drainage and grading and compaction in this community has been an ongoing. Suped up
"modified" Golf Carts, Polaris type vehicles would be loud and disruptive to many neighbors as
the noise bounces off the hill and echos thru the community and Marbella as well.
Kind Regards,
Robyn

Robyn,
I know you're out of town, but just read your letter, The license agreement
requirements only affect a few lots in the neighborhood, and only up hill parcels.
The homes you reference including your own don't need to apply for a license
agreement to allow equestrian with a path to access it.
I would love to discuss this, and the most recent staff report put restrictions on the
vehicles that would be allowed to access the upper barn...
We are not allowed to access the barn with a golf cart (for hay etc.) from the top
per City regulations.
I really believe after we talk we could clear up the confusion
Thanks again
