ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL 98-03. MODIFICATION
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN
CAPISTRANO APPROVING A MODIFICATION TO ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL 98-03, A
REQUEST TO ADD A 394 SQUARE FOOT ADDITION AND EXTEND THE ROOF ON AN
EXISTING COMMERCIAL BUILDING AT 31591 CAMINO CAPISTRANO. (RJM DESIGN GRP)
Whereas, the Environmental Administrator has reviewed the project pursuant to Section
1506 1 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and issued a categorical exemption and caused
a Notice of Exemption to be posted pursuant to the City’s Environmental Review Guidelines; and,
Whereas, the Planning Commission conducted a duly noticed public meeting on June 9, 1998
pursuant to Section 9-2.3 13 of the Municipal Code to consider public testimony on the proposed project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of
San Juan Capistrano does hereby make the following findings-
1. The proposed project complies with applicable provisions of the Land Use
Code, specifically the standards established for the General Commercial (CG)
district
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of
the City of San Juan Capistrano does hereby confirm issuance of a categorical exemption and approves
Architectural Control Modification 98-03 subject to the following condition.
1. The applicant shall provide a total of 14 parking spaces. If the City should require use
of the easement which is to be used to tilfill the parking requirement, the on-site
alternate design shall be constructed, subject to final design approval by the Planning
Director
