CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING
A. ORGANIZATION:
1. CALL TO ORDER:
The Chair called the Regular Meeting of the Cultural Heritage Commission of
the City of San Juan Capistrano to order at 4:30 p.m. in the City Council
Chamber.
2. ROLL CALL:
Commissioners Present: Lorie Porter
Anna Dickinson

Howard Newman
Ann Ronan
Janet Siegel
Sergio Klotz, Assistant Development Services Director
B. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.
C. CONSENT CALENDAR:
1. Draft September 24, 2019 Cultural Heritage Commission Minutes.
Approved on a 4-0 vote (Commissioner Dickinson abstained).
D. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
None.
E. NEW BUSINESS:
1. Verbal discussion to consider related programs during preservation month
in 2020 and to consider forming an Ad Hoc Committee (Chair Lorie
Porter).
Lori Porter opened discussion with Commissioners providing input.

Adoption of Motion
Commissioner Ronan made the motion, seconded by Commissioner
Dickinson, to appoint an Ad-hoc committee consisting of Commissioners
Porter and Newman to study ideas raised and report back to the
Commission. The motion passed by a 5-0 vote.
AYES: Commissioners Porter, Dickinson, Newman, Ronan and
Siegel.
NOES: None.
ABSTAIN: None.

None.
H. ADJOURNMENT: to Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. in the City
Council Chambers.
