the City Clerk. The agreement is twenty pages in length and has
therefore not been enclosed with this memorandum. A brief
Resolution is enclosed for approval due to a State requirement.

October starting date. With numerous agency approvals yet to be
acquired, that date is subject to change. Staff shall inform
the City Council of any major changes.
BOARD/COMMISSIONS REVIEW, RECOMMENDATION

Caltrans, provide 86% of the construction costs. The necessary
funds for the City's participation are reflected in the budget
for the coming year.
ALTERNATE ACTIONS:
1. Approve the agreement.
2. Do not approve the agreement.
3. Direct that changes to the agreement be negotiated with
Caltrans.
RECOMMENDATION:
By Resolution, approve Agreement No. 07-5372 with Caltrans
District 7 for the funding of the Camino Capistrano Bridge at
San Juan Creek reconstruction.
Respectfully submitted,
