SUBJECT: FINAL REPORT AND NOTICE OF COMPLETION - INSTALLATION
OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT DEL OBISPO AND BLUE FIN
SITUATION:
In accordance with the plans and specifications for the subject
project, C.T.& F., Inc., has completed said construction. The
project was the installation of a new traffic signal at the
intersection of Del Obispo Street and Blue Fin Drive. The current
payment status is as follows:
Total Project Cost $28,104.00
Less 10% Retention $ 2,810.40
Previous Progress Payments $10,225.44
Amount Due This Payment $15,068.16
FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
The approved budgeted amount for this project was $35,000. The
cost for this traffic signal installation is to be shared equally
between the City and the County since this is a Co-op Project.
ALTERNATE ACTIONS:
1. Determine that the work is complete and acceptable.
2. Determine that the work is not complete and acceptable.
3. Refer to Staff for additional information.
RECOMMENDATION:
By resolution, determine that the work has been completed in accordance
with the contract documents and declare the work to be accepted. The
total amount of the work performed under the contract is in the sum
of $28,104.00. Within ten (10) days from the date of acceptance,
file a Notice of Completion with the Orange County Recorder.

By motion, direct staff to make payment to C.T.& F., Inc. in the
amount of $2,810.40 upon expiration of thirty-five (35) days from
the date of recording of Notice of Completion.
