Re: Agreement for Deferral of Development Taxes and Fees
Dear Mr. Schoepe:
At their meeting of August 5, 1997, the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano
took action to approve an agreement relating to deferral of development taxes and fees
in conjunction with the Fluidmaster project being constructed at 30800 Rancho Viejo Road.
The agreement provides that the fees and taxes required for the presently approved
development plan will be deferred until not later than one year following issuance of a
formal Certificate of Occupancy. The agreement also requires submittal of a financial
surety to guarantee the obligation to pay the deferred fees and taxes is met. That surety
should be forwarded to the City Attorney for approval.
A fully-executed copy of the Agreement is enclosed for your files. Please feel free to
contact us if you have any questions.
Very truly yours,
Cheryl Johnson, CMC
City Clerk
