The Glendale Development Sewer Easement approved for recordation on May 15, 1990 (see attached
minutes) has not been recorded. The Orange County recorders office returned it to our office as
additional information was required. Our office in turn forwarded the request to Cathy DuCoing.
Status to date - awaiting corrected document to forward to Recorder.
----� License Agreement, Marbella Plaza Partners, Lot 216, Tract 12954 approved for recordation on July
6, 1993, (see attached minutes) has not been recorded. Agreement was sent to the recorders office
with recording fee from Marbella Plaza Partners. Our office did not receive a recorded document nor
was the check for the recording fee cashed. Apparently the document was lost. Our office has been
in touch with Cathy DuCoing and is waiting for new document and the fees to send to the Recorder.
Please contract me regarding these two items so we can get these completed.

EERING - TRABUCO CREEK BRIDGE WIDENING AT RANCHO VIEJO ROAD

As set forth in the Report dated May 15, 1990, from the
Director of Public Works, the Agreement with NBS/Lowry to
review shop drawings for the widening of the Trabuco Creek
Bridge at Rancho Viejo Road on an as-needed basis was
approved, in an amount not to exceed $15, 000. The Mayor and
City Clerk were directed to execute the Agreement.
� 7 . ACCEPTANCE OF SEWER EASEMENT - NORTH OF SAN JUAN CREEK ROAD
AND WEST OF SAN JUAN HILLS GOLF COURSE (GLENFED) (670 . 50)
As set forth in the Report dated May 15, 1990, from the
Director of Public Works, the following Resolution was
adopted accepting the easement deed from Glendale Federal
for the existing sewer line located west of the San Juan
Hills Golf Course north of San Juan Creek Road for sanitary
sewer purposes:

The City Clerk was directed to forward the deed to the Orange
County Recorder.
10 . ACCEPTANCE OF SEWER AND UTILITY EASEMENTS - HILLTOP WAY

As set forth in the Report dated May 15, 1990 , from the
Director of Public Works, the Resolution following was
adopted accepting the easement deed from Ronald and Barbara
Conrad for sewer and utility purposes:

As set forth in the Report dated May 15, 1990, from the
Director of Public Works, the following Resolution was
adopted accepting the sewer easement for the south parcel of
RS 66-37 in Hidden Valley.

Written Communication:
Report dated July 6, 1993, from the Director of Engineering and Building, recommending that a License
Agreement be approved between Marbella Plaza Partners and the City allowing the placement of
playground and fencing within the 100-year flood plain and City drainage easement of Homo Creek
adjacent to Building F. The License Agreement included a comprehensive indemnification section that
protects the City against any and all problems created downstream by any of the play equipment,fences,
and related structures placed within the 100-year flood plain and drainage easement.
Approval of License Agreement between City and Marbella Plaza Partners:
It was moved by Council Member Hausdorfer, seconded by Council Member Campbell, and
unanimously carried that the License Agreement between the City and Marbella Plaza Partners be
approved allowing the placement of playground and fencing within the 100-year flood plain and City
drainage easement of Horno Creek adjacent to Building F. The Mayor and the City Clerk were
authorized to execute the Agreement, and the City Clerk was directed to forward the Agreement to the
County Recorder.

4. JOINT PUBLIC HEARING - CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LEASE
AGREEMENT FOR VAQUERO WEST MERCANTILE LOCATED AT 26755 VERDUGO
STREET (600.40)
Mayor Jones indicated he had a potential conflict of interest in this matter because of the proximity of his
residence to the subject property, and Mayor pro tem Campbell presided.
Consideration of an amendment to the lease agreement between the Community Redevelopment Agency
and Vaquero West Mercantile which would defer the start of lease payments to the CRA to August 1,
1993.
