Re: Steeplechase Booster Station-Furnish and Install New Pump and Motor
Dear Tim,
We are pleased to present our project estimate for the referenced work to be performed at Steeplechase Booster Station.
Layne will furnish and install new pumps as described below. Included is 25'of NSF fusion-bonded lined and coated steel
column,416 stainless shaft and shaft retainers for each pump,flexible coupling on discharge for each pump. New
fabricated steel discharge heads will be built to same dimensional design as on existing heads. We will need one of the
heads for obtaining all dimensional information. Prevailing Wage Rates apply to all on-site labor. This estimate assumes re-
using existing conduit and motor conductors from control panels. Bowl assembly will be fusion-bonded epoxy coated,
intermediate column assembly will be lined and coated, discharge head will be lined and coated NSF certified fusion-
bonded coating. See attached submittal for details. Bowl assembly impellers will be dynamically balanced.
Assumes no acetylene cutting and/or welding is required for installing the flex couplings. Option for new wear rings,
provided.
Our estimate is valid for 30 days. Applicable taxes, bonds, and special insurance requirements are included with this
