TO: Benjamin Siegel, City Manager
FROM: Steve May, Public Works and Utilities Director ,i„
Prepared by: Mike Marquis, P.E., Associate Civil Engineer
SUBJECT: Tirador Well Rehabilitation Project, CIP 17807
Description: The submersible well pump and motor at the Tirador well facility have failed

waste products are clogging the screen at this facility. Accordingly, staff
prepared a request for proposal to clean the well screens as well as furnish,
install, start up and testing of new equipment in order to return this facility to
service. Staff solicited bids from 5 firms, and received bids from two firms.
