DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE
Regular Meeting September 13, 2018
A. ORGANIZATION
1. CALL TO ORDER: 4:30 p.m. -City Council Chamber
2. ROLL CALL: Chair Rob Williams, and Committee Members Stan Braden and
Geoff Sumich.
B. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
Persons wishing to address the Governing Body on city business that is not listed on
the agenda may do so at this time. Persons wishing to address the Committee on any
item that is listed on the Agenda should submit a Request to Speak form to the
Secretary. Forms are available at the entrance to the Council Chamber. The Chair
Person will call forward speakers during consideration of each item.
Please limit all comments to 3 minutes.
C. CONSENT CALENDAR:
Items listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and will be enacted by
one motion and one vote. There will be no separate discussion of these items. If
discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Calendar and will
be considered separately.

1. Consideration of an amendment to the Design Review Committee Bylaws
(Project Manager: David Contreras, Secretary, Principal Planner).
2. Consideration of a Worksession to Introduce Architectural Control (AC) 18-021;
Ganahl Lumber at the Lower Rosan Site, Review of Development Plans for the
Proposed Commercial Development Project Located on the Lower Rosan
Property at approximately the northeast corner of Stonehill Drive and San Juan
Creek (Assessor Parcel Numbers 121-253-13, 15 and 121-240-39, 73 and 76)
(Applicant: Mr. Alex Uniack, Ganahl Lumber). (Project Manager: Sergio Klotz,
Assistant Director). ·
3. Consideration of Architectural Control (AC) 17-030; Harbor View, review of a
fl70dification to a previously approved Architectural Control (AC 16-011 ), (The
Pearl), Tract 15687 which approved development plans for 59 unit single-family
detached condominium project located at the northwest corner of Via La Jolla
and Avenida California. (APN 675-081-20). (Applicant: Nick Norvilas, Toll
Brothers)(Project Mana·ger: Art Bashmakian, Contract Planner).
