I oppose 180 new homes on Vermeulen property. My justification is Del Obispo cannot handle any more
traffic.
D1
Recently, I got trapped in gridlock of cars on Camino Capistrano and Del Obispo around 6:00 pm waiting for
ghost trains and real trains to pass through town. I was stuck and couldn't move through four green lights.
Whatever that amounts to in time I don't know. While sitting in traffic I started to wonder how a fire engine
would get to Los Rios two blocks away from our town's Fire Station when there was no way around the
gridlock.
I believe it's unfair to cut off about half of our town from fire and medical service because of a train crossing.

Very much opposed to more development. Inadequate roads and heavy traffic already a huge problem. SJC
is badly overdeveloped already, and we are also suffering a water shortage. Please vote NO on this.

Dear Mayor and City Councilmembers,
I live on Alipaz Street near where it intersects Camino del Avion. I oppose the Farm Specific Plan Residential
Community development because of the negative impact it would have on traffic in our area. Most households
these days have not one car but 2-4. This could possibly add 360-720 cars to the already terribly congested
triangular area bordered by Del Obispo, Camino del Avion and Alipaz. There are four schools in this triangle
and coupled in with the delays caused by the train stops traffic is already a nightmare in the morning and
afternoons. Please do not approve this project.
Thank you,
Gia Lugo

I have been a home owner in San Juan for 41 years. I am against the above proposal. It will impact traffic, and
lessen open space which make San Juan a unique place to live. 180 single family homes is far too many. A
scaled back proposal, and design of the tract should be approved by the voters of San Juan. Maybe a recall of
the members of the planning commisson should be in the works. Sincerely, Michael E. OKeefe

Hello.
I would like it to be submitted to the hearing that I, Cassandra Logan Crow, owner of a residence in San Juan
Capistrano would like to oppose the change in land use designation of the "Vermeulen" property located at
32382 Del Obispo Street (APN's:121-182-17 and 121-182-53).
I believe that land should remain Agri -Business.
I oppose the use of the land for residential development.
My address is:
San Juan Capistrano CA 92675
Please let me know if there is any other information you need from me to oppose this change.
Thank you!
Cassie
