1. Capital Improvement Project No. 07111: a request for review of the design for the
construction of a retaining wall along the west side of El Camino Real adjacent to the
Capistrano Unified School District's (CUSD) property at 31422 Camino Capistrano.
(Applicant: City of San Juan Capistrano) (Project Manager: Khoon Tan, Senior Civil Engineer).
2. Continued Consideration of a revision to Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 11-005:
Tuttle-Click's Capistrano Ford: a request for review of proposed wireless
telecommunications facilities located on 5.24 acres, specifically located at 33301
Camino Capistrano (APN 668-121-11 & 14) (Applicant: Tuttle-Click Automotive -Ken Friess,
Project Manager)(Project Manager: David Contreras, Senior Planner).

G. NEW BUSINESS
1. Consideration of Architectural Control (AC) 13-016, and Sign Permit 13-016,
Modification to AC 96-005, Del Taco; a request for approval of preliminary design
plans to change the building color palette, building mounted lighting fixtures, install
building mounted artwork panels which will be illuminated by new gooseneck lighting,
and install a new north elevation building mounted sign for the building located and at
31780 Del Obispo Street, generally located 300 feet south of Ortega Highway (APN
668-241-27) (Applicant: Del Taco, LLC) (Project Manager: Laura Stokes, Housing/Redevelopment
Coordinator).
2. Introduction of General Plan Amendment (GPA) 12-02, Rezone (RZ) 12-01,
Architectural Control (AC) 12-13, Grading Plan Modification (GPM) 12-01, Rancho
San Juan Apartments; a request for approval of planning applications for the
development of a 100-dwelling unit, multi-family, apartment complex on 4.6 net acres
(9.7 gross acres) located on the north side of Vista Montana about 370 feet west of La
Pata Avenue (Applicant: Rancho San Juan Development, LLC) (Project Manager: William
Ramsey, AICP, Assistant Director).

The next regularly scheduled Design Review Committee meeting will be Thursday, July
11, 2013 at 4:30p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
