DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE
Regular Meeting October 8, 2015
A. ORGANIZATION
1. CALL TO ORDER: 4:30 p.m. -City Council Chamber
2. ROLL CALL: Chair Bob Cardoza, Vice-Chair Rob Williams, and Committee
Member Stan Braden.
B. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
Persons wishing to address the Governing Body on city business that is not listed on
the agenda may do so at this time. Persons wishing to address the Committee on any
item that is listed on the Agenda should submit a Request to Speak form to the
Secretary. Forms are available at the entrance to the Council Chamber. The Chair
Person will call forward speakers during consideration of each item.
Please limit all comments to 3 minutes.
C. CONSENT CALENDAR:
Items listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and will be enacted by
one motion and one vote. There will be no separate discussion of these items. If
discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Calendar and will
be considered separately.

None.

1. Continued consideration of Architectural Control (AC) 14-022, 24 Hour Fitness;
review of development plans for a proposed freestanding 24 Hour Fitness facility
located at the terminus of Calle Arroyo adjacent to Interstate 5 (Assessor Parcel
Number 666-131-09 and 666-131-15)(Applicant: Mr. Ernie Rivas, JH Real Estate
Partners, Inc.) (Project Manager: Sergio Klotz, AICP, Acting Director).
F. NEW BUSINESS:
1. Consideration of Planning Commission Interpretation (PC I) 15-001; review of plans
for metal roof on a residence at 25921 Avenida Mariposa (Assessor Parcel
Number: 668-013-16)(Applicant: Matt Boland)(Project Manager: Laura Stokes,
Housing Coordinator/Assistant Planner).
2. Consideration of a conceptual landscape plan for the La Novia Roundabout located
at the intersection of the Interstate 5 (1-5) entrance and exit ramps at La Novia
Avenue and Valle Road (Project Manager: George Alvarez, City/Traffic Engineer).
