DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE
Regular Meeting April 12, 2018
A. ORGANIZATION
1. CALL TO ORDER: 4:30 p.m. -City Council Chamber
2. ROLL CALL: Chair Stan Braden, and Committee Members Rob Williams and
Geoff Sumich.
B. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
Persons wishing to address the Governing Body on city business that is not listed on
the agenda may do so at this time. Persons wishing to address the Committee on any
item that is listed on the Agenda should submit a Request to Speak form to the
Secretary. Forms are available at the entrance to the Council Chamber. The Chair
Person will call forward speakers during consideration of each item.
Please limit all comments to 3 minutes.
C. CONSENT CALENDAR:
Items listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and will be enacted by
one motion and one vote. There will be no separate discussion of these items. If
discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Calendar and will
be considered separately.

of proposed landscaping for U-Haul Moving & Storage facility located at 33033
Camino Capistrano. Continued from March 8, 2018 meeting (Applicants: Jini
Lorimer, Amerco Real Estate /U-Haul) (Project Manager: Art Bashmakian,
Contract Planner).
2. Continued Consideration of Architectural Control (AC) 16-029; "River Street
Marketplace", Review of Development Plans for the Proposed Commercial and
Office Development Project Located on the Ito Nursery Property at 31825 Los
Rios Street (Assessor Parcel Numbers 121-160-22, 28, 49) (Applicant: Dan
Almquist and Frontier Real Estate lnvestments)(Project Manager: David
Contreras, Senior Planner).
F. NEW BUSINESS:
1. Reorganization of the Design Review Committee: Selection of Chairperson and
Vice Chairperson (Project Manager: David Contreras, Senior Planner).
2. Consideration of Planning Commission Interpretation (PCI) 18-001; review of
plans for metal roof on an existing detached residential garage at 31471 La
Matanza (Assessor Parcel Number: 124-203-06)(Applicant: Joe
Mankawich)(Project Manager: David Contreras, Senior Planner).
