Regular Meeting October 27, 2015
A. ORGANIZATION
1. CALL TO ORDER: 4:30 p.m. -City Council Chamber
2. ROLL CALL: Chair Lorie Porter, Vice-Chair Rhonda DeHaan, and Commissioners
Nathan Banda, Mechelle Lawrence Adams, and Christie Smead.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
B. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
Persons wishing to address the Governing Body on city business that is not listed on
the agenda may do so at this time. Persons wishing to address the Commission on
any item that is listed on the Agenda should submit a Request to Speak form to the
Secretary. Forms are available at the entrance to the Council Chamber. The Chair
Person will call forward speakers during consideration of each item.
Please limit all comments to 3 minutes.
C. CONSENT CALENDAR:
Items listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and will be enacted by
one motion and one vote. There will be no separate discussion of these items. If
discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Calendar and will
be considered separately.
1. Draft September 22, 2015 Cultural Heritage Commission Minutes.
2. Continued Consideration of Establishment of Cultural Heritage Commission's
2015-2016 Goals (Project Manager: Nick Taylor, Acting Senior Planner).
The City of San Juan Capistrano complies with the

1. Consideration of Site Plan Review (SPR) 15-005, Egan House; A remodel of
the existing exterior patio including 60 square feet of new patio area, remodel
and relocation of the existing staircase, and new landscaping, located at 31892
Camino Capistrano, approximately 470 feet north of Del Obispo Street (APN:
124-160-32)(Applicant: Dan Friess)(Project Manager: Nick Taylor, Acting Senior
Planner).

F. NEW BUSINESS:
1. Consideration of Mills Act Contract (MAC) 15-002, Egan House; a Request for
Approval of a Mills Act Contract for Property Located at 31892 Camino
Capistrano (APN: 124-160-32)(Applicant: William J. Griffith, Rivendell Land
Company, lnc.)(Project Manager: Nick Taylor, Acting Senior Planner).
2. Consideration of Site Plan Review (SPR) 15-006, Warkentien Residence; A new
120 square foot shed at an existing residence which contributes to the Los Rios
Historic District, 31600 Los Rios Street (APN: 121-142-13)(Applicant: Rick and
Deborah Evans Warkentien)(Project Manager: Laura Stokes, Housing
Coordinator/Assistant Planner).
