Regular Meeting September 22, 2015
A. ORGANIZATION
1. CALL TO ORDER: 4:30p.m.-City Council Chamber
2. ROLL CALL: Chair Lorie Porter, Vice-Chair Rhonda DeHaan, and Commissioners
Nathan Banda, Mechelle Lawrence Adams, and Christie Smead.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
B. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
Persons wishing to address the Governing Body on city business that is not listed on
the agenda may do so at this time. Persons wishing to address the Commission on
any item that is listed on the Agenda should submit a Request to Speak form to the
Secretary. Forms are available at the entrance to the Council Chamber. The Chair
Person will call forward speakers during consideration of each item.
Please limit all comments to 3 minutes.
C. CONSENT CALENDAR:
Items listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and will be enacted by
one motion and one vote. There will be no separate discussion of these items. If
discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Calendar and will
be considered separately.
1. Draft August 25, 2015 Cultural Heritage Commission Minutes.
2. Continued Consideration of Establishment of Cultural Heritage Commission's
2015-2016 Goals (Project Manager: Nick Taylor, Associate Planner).
The City of San Juan Capistrano complies with the

advance to enable the City to make reasonable

1. Consideration of Site Plan Review (SPR) 15-007, Laux Residence; a remodel of
an existing residence which contributes to the Los Rios Historic District,
consisting of reroofing and repainting the residence at 31611 Los Rios Street
(APN: 121-142-14)(Applicant: Michael Laux & Holly Repenn)(Project Manager:
Laura Stokes, Housing Coordinator/Assistant Planner).
2. Consideration of Site Plan Review (SPR) 15-003, Capistrano Depot; an
expansion of the existing dining patio and trellis, a new outdoor fireplace, and
new landscaping, located at 26701 Verdugo Street (APN: 121-141-
17)(Applicant: John Loomis, Thirtieth Street Architects)(Project Manager: Nick
Taylor, Associate Planner).
