A. ORGANIZATION
1. CALL TO ORD ER: 4:30 p.m. -City Council Chamber
2. ROLL CALL: Chair Mechelle Lawrence Adams, Vice-Chair Rhonda DeHaan,
Commissioners William Bonney, Donna Friess and Lorie Porter.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
B. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
Persons wishing to address the Governing Body on city business that is not listed on
the agenda may do so at this time. Persons wishing to address the Commission on
any item that is listed on the Agenda should submit a Request to Speak form to the
Secretary. Forms are available at the entrance to the Council Chamber. The Chair
Person will call forward speakers during consideration of each item.
Please limit all comments to 3 minutes.
C. CONSENT CALENDAR:
Items listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and will be enacted by
one motion and . one vote. There will be no separate discussion of these items. If
discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Calendar and will
be considered separately.
1. Draft June 27, 2017 Cultural Heritage Commission Minutes.
The City of San Juan Ca pistrano complies with the

D. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. Consideration of Site Plan Review (SPR) 17-001, Maxwell Residence Addition;
a request to construct a 284 square foot addition at 31319 Andres Pico Road, a
listed property on the City's Inventory of Historical and Cultural Landmarks
referred to as the Durnford/Marco Forster House (APN: 124-201-24)(Applicant:
Alura Aguilera, A2 Design)(Project Manager: Paul Garcia, Associate Planner).
E. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
None.
F. NEW BUSINESS:
1. Selection of Cultural Heritage Commission Representative and Alternate
Representative to attend the City Council meeting, tentatively scheduled for
August 1, 2017, on the Cultural Heritage Commission's recommendation
regarding proposed Cultural and Natural History Museum at the Great Park in
Irvine. (Project Manager: Sergio Klotz, Assistant Director). Oral report only for
item.
2. Selection of an Ad-hoc member to replace former Cultural Heritage
Commissioner Banda for the Plaza Banderas Development Project (Project
Manager: David Contreras, Senior Planner). Oral report only for item.

H. ADJOURNMENT: to Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. in the City Council
Chambers.
