SUBJECT:Maintenance Service Agreement (MSA) approval for Graffiti Removal Maintenance
Services (Bonanza Steam Cleaning)
The City's current graffiti removal agreement with Insley Construction Inc. expires on December 31,
2017. Public Works solicited proposals for these services in October 2077 and two companies submitted
responses. After evaluating the submittals, Public Works staff recommended award to Bonanza Steam
Cleaning and City Council subsequently approved award at their December 5,2017, meeting (Consent
Item F-14).
The new MSA is included as Attachment 1 to this memorandum and the term is for three years,
commencing on January 1,2018, and ending December 31,2020, for an annual amount not to exceed the
amount of available funding in the annual Operations and Capital Improvement budgets. Currently, for
Fiscal Year 2077-2018, the approved budget amount for graffiti abatement and maintenance services is
$63,000.00.
