18-0101_BONANZA STEAM CLEANING_Memo from PWTO MEMORANDUM DATE: December 6,2017 Benjamin Siegel, City Manager Steve May, Public Works and Utilities Director FROM: Rod Hamilton, Public Works Manager --,1iT¿+ ;.'?;" SUBJECT:Maintenance Service Agreement (MSA) approval for Graffiti Removal Maintenance Services (Bonanza Steam Cleaning) The City's current graffiti removal agreement with Insley Construction Inc. expires on December 31, 2017. Public Works solicited proposals for these services in October 2077 and two companies submitted responses. After evaluating the submittals, Public Works staff recommended award to Bonanza Steam Cleaning and City Council subsequently approved award at their December 5,2017, meeting (Consent Item F-14). The new MSA is included as Attachment 1 to this memorandum and the term is for three years, commencing on January 1,2018, and ending December 31,2020, for an annual amount not to exceed the amount of available funding in the annual Operations and Capital Improvement budgets. Currently, for Fiscal Year 2077-2018, the approved budget amount for graffiti abatement and maintenance services is $63,000.00.
