This report summarizes actions taken by the Housing Advisory Committee on February 6, 1997. No
action is required unless Council wishes to hold special review of an item.

1. Call to Order - The meeting was convened at 7 07 p m.
2. Oral Communications - None.
3. Consent Calendar - The Action Minutes of January 15, 1997 were approved as submitted
4. Public Hearing
a Review of Possible Programs for Inclusion into City Community Development Block
Grant Application - The Committee conducted a continued public hearing on the
Community Development Block Grant Application. At the conclusion of the staff
presentation and clarifications on the various applications that had been submitted
from community organizations, the Housing Advisory Committee unanimously
forwarded the following funding recommendations to the Planning Commission and
City Council for inclusion into the CDBG application (Palermo, deGuevara)

Center or the Brandy’s Friends Family Counseling Center due to either the organization not
being eligible or offering a duplicate service from present organizations providing services to
the community
