No action is required unless Council wishes to hold special review of an item Commission Attendance Present: Marie Buckner, Joann de Guevara, Jessica Dean, Ed Johnson, Michelle Knorre, Ethel Tregarthen, Maryrose Winkler Absent: None Staff Present: Lynnette Adolphson, Management Analyst II Debbie Dirnu, Housing Consultant Y A. CALL TO ORDER - Chairperson Buckner called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. B. ORAL CO!QMUNlCATlONS - None. C. [ - The minutes of June 1, 2000 were unanimously approved as submitted. D. NEW 1. Consideration of Amendment to Title 9, Chapter 2. of the Municipal Code Adding Section 9-2.319 Relating to the Regulation of Proposed Mobile Home Park Conversions. Closures, and Cessation of I Jse - Ms. Adolphson gave the staff presentation stating that the proposed ordinance establishes rules and regulations governing the conversion, closure or cessation of any mobile home park within the City limits. Staff noted that state law currently sets forth mlnimum standards for local regulation and allows for local agencies to enact more stringent measures than required by state law. Y Staff indicated that the City places a high priority on affordable housing, and the mobile home parks offer the community an affordable housing alternative. The ordinance includes language (1) requiring the park owner to file an application with the City; (2) requiring preparation of a relocation impact report by a neutral third-party to address the impacts of such change
