This report summarizes actions taken by the Housing Advisory Committee on June 1,
2000 No action is required unless Council wishes to hold special review of an item.

CALL TO ORDER - Vice-Chairman Buckner called the meeting to order at
7:00 p.m.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS - None.
MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 24 AND MARCH 24. 2000 - Member Dean moved to
approve the February 24 and March 24, 2000 minutes as submitted. The motion
was seconded by Member de Guevara and passed unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Housina Programs Status Report - Received and filed.
COMMITTEE/STAFF COMMENTS
1. Annual Reoraanization of the Housina Advisory Committee - Selection
of Chairman and Vice Chairman - The Committee members elected Marie
Buckner as chairman and Maryrose Winkler as vice chairman

2. Comments - Chairman Buckner agreed to attend the upcoming Mayor’s
meeting, and the Committee reached consensus that Ms. Buckner should
discuss with the Mayor the need for new construction for low- and very-low
Income households.
F. ADJOURNMENT- There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at
8.05 p.m.
