1. Organization of the Housing Advisory Committee: Selection of Chair and Vice
Chair.
The Housing Advisory Committee made the following selections and
appointments for the upcoming 2015-2016 term:

Laura Freese was selected as Chair.
Committee Member Campman-Crofts made a motion, seconded by Committee
Member Marquez to select Committee Member Freese as Chair. The motion
passed by a 3-0 vote'
AYES: Commissioners Campman-Crofts, Freese, and Marquez.
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
Nancy Campman-Crofts was selected as Vice -Chair,.
Committee Member Marquez made a motion, seconded by Committee Member
Freese to select Committee Member Campman-Crofts as Vice -Chair. The motion
passed by a 3-0 vote.
AYES: Commissioners Campman-Crofts, Freese, and Marquez.
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
2. Introduction of the Housing Advisory Committee Bylaws (Laura Stokes,
Secretary).
Laura Stokes, Committee Secretary, made the staff presentation and responded
to questions.
Adoption of Motion
Vice -Chair Campman-Crofts made a motion, seconded by Committee Member
Marquez to __adopt_ a Resolution approving the _Housing Advisory Committee
slaws. T e motion passed by a 3-0 vote.

3. Approval of Regular Meeting Dates (Laura Stokes, Secretary).
Laura Stokes, Committee Secretary, made the staff presentation and responded
to questions.
Adoption of Motion
Chair Freese made a motion, seconded by Vice -Chair Campman-Crofts to
establish the regular meeting dates for the Housing Advisory Committee as the
first Wednesday in April and as needed thereafter. The motion passed by a 3-0
vote.
AYES: Chair Freese, Vice -Chair Campman-Crofts, and Marquez
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
G. COMMISSION/STAFF COMMENTS:
1. Mobile Home Rent Control Hearing Protocol (Jeff Ballinger, City Attorney).
Jeff Ballinger, City Attorney, made the staff presentation and responded to
questions regarding the City's Mobile Home Rent Control Hearing process and
protocol.
H. ADJOURNMENT: The Committee adjourned to Wednesday, September 16, 2015,
at 1:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
